H138d: The design changes from the previous version are:
Orientated the whole house 45 degrees more clockwise, resulting in a full north-south orientation of the longitudinal axis.
Opened up the south wall as much as possible by: - Moving the office to the north wall of the module, adjusting the position of the kitchen to make room for it. - This moves the monitor back from glare from the outside lighting. - Was able to put in a coat closet right outside the office. - Moving the master bedroom to the west wall. - Had to make the retaining walls stick out 5’-10” as opposed to 4’-0” to accommodate the bathroom bump-out.
Was finally able to get the TV console away from the common wall right across from the music studio. It is now nowhere near that wall.
Rotated the main direction of the garage so that it now faces west towards the road. - Moved the kennel to the northeast corner of the garage, air-locked in. The external door can be left open in the summer for fresh air, and closed in the winter for warmth. - The kennels are similar in nature to those featured on the deer creek website http://www.deer-creek.org/ - The floor grating and exposed siding/door would be that specified on their website.
