Scout Camp Trail is a 2.2 mile hike that starts out in an area that used to be a Boy Scout (BSA) campground. It travels to the start of the canyon rim, then forms a loop trail which is, at times, steep, narrow and slippery; and the downslope edge drops off drastically (see #429 photo). You have to be careful on this trail. A good exercise (up and down), and gorgeous views. Important note: at 431, you need to climb up and over the rock in the picture to continue the trail.
